It is a little-known masterpiece for two pianos by Armenian composer Aram Khachatulian (1903-1978). This work is an orchestral arrangement of the song 'Daughters of Iran,' originally used in the anti-fascist film 'Registration No. 217' (directed by Mikhail Romm), and was completed in 1944 to match the film. Currently, it is only included in Khachaturyan's complete works, making it difficult to obtain sheet music, so this book makes it much easier to work on.
